Google Ads Boss: ‘We Need to Deal With’ Ad Blocking as an Industry

Google's top advertising executive, Sridhar Ramaswamy, stated during Advertising Week that crappy ad experiences are the reason that ad blocking tools are becoming so popular. He also stated that there needs to be a consensus on what acceptable ads look like and how to set up an acceptable ad program so as not to hinder a user's experience on the web. Ramaswamy believes that if people don't come to an agreement on this topic, things are going to end up worse for everybody than if they find a solution that makes everybody happy.
