Google Tweaks Algorithm to Better Handle Hacked Spam

Google is changing up their algorithm to better combat hacked spam in search results in order to protect webmasters and users. A lot of sites aren't very well protected against spam that can contain malicious software aimed at leading users to poor quality sites, porn, or unwanted downloads. These changes could lead to only the 'most relevant' information being shown, making the search results look smaller and more compact. They say these changes could impact as much as 5% of searches.
