Shopping Campaign Click And Ad Spend Growth Far Outpaced Text Ads Across Engines In Q3 [Study]

A recent report by Merkle RKG about the third quarter of the year showed a 19% rise in paid search spend in the United States. Shopping campaigns on both AdWords and Bing Ads showed large growth with a 39% increase in ad spend and 47% increase in clicks. This is perhaps due to the fact that both platforms have been making large updates to their shopping campaigns to make them more successful.
