Update: We recently added another role to Shape teams: read-only mode. Shape can now be shared with non-PPC team members at your organization. They can’t make changes to budgets/clients but can view performance, pull reports, and more.
Today, we are announcing Shape Version 3.0 featuring Teams.
More than ever, it takes a group effort to manage successful ad campaigns. PPC professionals and their colleagues can now share, filter, search, analyze, act, and report more efficiently using Shape as a team.
**Current Shape Customers**
Everything will keep working as usual until you decide to upgrade. Review our Migration Guide to learn how your team can start taking advantage of V3 enhancements now.
V3 is fueled by years of feedback from our customers. We've seen companies using Shape rapidly grow, riding the wave of unprecedented ad spend moving online.
Customers that started as one person operations now have multiple employees. Small PPC departments have added three times the headcount. Large teams constantly welcome new people and say goodbye to others.
Working together in Shape wasn't as easy as should have been. Customers found creative workarounds, but we wanted to do better.
We started working on the new Teams framework almost a year ago. Many customers had resorted to having everyone on their team share a Shape login. This created major limitations and reduced the efficiency some of our most valuable features such as email alerts.
It was clear we needed to find a way to house all company data under one corporate umbrella that people could access with their own unique login.
I'm excited to say: that's exactly how Shape works now.
Once invited (by a team Admin or Manager), every teammate will receive a welcome email coaching them through the process of joining the team.
New Feature: Team Member Tags
For every new teammate, Shape now creates a 'Team Member Tag' that automatically integrates with the current Tags system.
Want to get alerts about a certain Client? Select which Clients your tag applies to and enable email alerts via the "Edit Tag" screen.
In the Dashboard, your Team Member Tag will now appear next to your selected Clients' names alongside any existing Tags.
Members can customize the appearance of the their Tag and profile on the "Settings" page.
Use Team Member Tags to Customize Your View of Shape
Once you've added your Team Member Tag to your Clients, you can easily filter Shape to display only your chosen accounts.
We couldn't be more excited and proud to bring Teams to Shape. If you have any questions about Teams, check out our knowledge base or email us at email@example.com.
