This week’s release is packed with new updates to give you more control over Shape. It’s easier than ever to filter the dashboard by tags, utilize AutoPilot, enable BudgetPacer recommendations, and view usage statistics (for API customers only).
Better Tag Filtering
In March, we introduced Tags to allow Shape members to categorize and filter their Dashboards based on customizable information or “labels” applied at the client level.
Tags allow you to denote things such as a client’s vertical, current status, or priority level. To make it easier to apply Tags, we’ve updated our platform to allow you to enable or disable any Tag directly from the dashboard.
Selecting the Tag icon in the top navigation will trigger the new Tag menu to appear. Choose the Tags you want to enable or disable and hit save. Tags will continue to hold across Client, Budget, or Campaign views, and can now be set from anywhere in the platform.
More Intellegent AutoPilot Algorithm
We know it’s essential to keep your clients' spend on track and on budget. It’s why we created AutoPilot and why we never stop thinking about how to improve it!
AutoPilot automatically pauses campaigns when spend nears your Budget and then reenables those campaigns at the start of the next Budget cycle. While you won’t see any visual changes to AutoPilot, we've increased the speed at which we pause campaigns as they get closer to total Budget exhaustion.
Check back for additional AutoPilot improvements in the weeks to come!
Budget Pacer Recommendations
BudgetPacer uses PPC performance data to help you make more informed budget recommendations and control spend more wisely throughout your Budget Cycle.
Using data such as daily budget and impression share lost due to budget, BudgetPacer calculates the optimal spend your campaigns can achieve. It even recommends how to allocate spend to hit certain performance targets (i.e. conversions or CTR).
Previously, selecting “Review Suggestions” on the BudgetPacer screen only allowed you to approve or reject BudgetPacer recommendations in bulk. Now, you can select which campaigns you want to apply changes to individually!
API Dashboard Insights
Shape’s API customers can now monitor their usage statistics directly from the dashboard. View call statistics by day and hour, generate auth tokens, and navigate to documentation directly from Shape.
The API Dashboard is available to all Shape account admins and managers in the Admin tab. Not an API customer or unsure if you should be seeing data? Contact us to learn about the Shape API.
