Google has announced the release of Customer Match; this will allow AdWords users to target audiences by using their email lists as a source. It will allow advertisers to bid and create ads in search, YouTube, and Gmail. The email lists can be uploaded manually or through the AdWords API. By creating Customer Match, Google is allowing advertisers to work off of any contact that they have had with their customers as far back into emails and their relationship as they want. It allows for more tailored ads and more detailed customer information. More details will be discussed at a later date.
