Referrer Changes For Ad Clicks

Google is making changes to the way it refers to ad clicks in order to improve security. Instead of showing the specific place that ad clicks are occurring, it simply states the base domain that the clicks come from (such as https://www.google.com or https://google.es). This will make it so that the referrer can no longer differentiate organic search clicks from ad clicks without using auto-tagging, custom campaign parameters, or ValueTrack parameters.
