Facebook Like And Share Buttons To Power Ad Targeting Based On Sites And Apps Users Visit

Facebook plans on passing the data from sites that use its like, share, and send buttons into their ad systems. They are doing this in order to improve their ad targeting and announced that they would eventually begin adding this data in last year. Users don't even have to click the buttons on these sites in order for data to be gathered. They simply need to use sites with these buttons active and data will be automatically collected. Users can turn this off on the Facebook ad settings page.
