Google Found Guilty of Stifling Russian Competition

Google was found guilty of taking actions to force out local competitors in Russia. They forced vendors to preload Android devices with Google applications and made it impossible to download some of their competitors' apps. Yandex, the biggest competitor in Russia, filed an antitrust claim against Google earlier this year. The ruling can be appealed, but if it holds, Google will have to follow Russian competition rules or be faced with a fine of 15% of its earnings in Russia.
