Yahoo Testing Full Screen Video Ads on Search Results Page

Yahoo is now testing full screen video ads in their search results that autoplays. The video takes the width of the browser and has the video controls below the bottom of the browser which you must scroll down to use. The video is muted and features ad copy at the very bottom of the video and features a 'Learn More' button. The new update could improve their digital ad revenue from video advertising but will most likely cost them search share as users switch engines to avoid the annoying ads.
